1.Sculpture skills of solid wood and hardwood
When carving hardwood, we recommend covering the surface of the wood to reduce the penetration of the residue into the engraving area, making it easy to clean.
Use the "bottom up" engraving mode. In the industrial laser engraving machine software, the working mode of the laser head can be changed so that the engraving machine can be bottom-up rather than top-down. The advantage of this is that smoke and debris can be reduced to the engraving area as the laser head moves.
After engraving, clean with some glue remover in case that the hardwood gum becomes burning and blackening at high temperatures.
2. Can the industrial laser engraving machine really engrave the glass? What is the skill?
First of all, not all glass is smooth. You may think that you need to buy more expensive to get better results. This is not the case. Many of our customers use the wholesaler glassware to engrave and the engraving effect is very good.
Let us give you some advice about carving glass.
With a lower resolution, it is only about 300DPI to get better results;
Change the black in the graphic to 80% to improve the quality of the engraving.
Lay a wet tissue on the glass which helps to dissipate heat and improve the quality of the engraving, but make sure the paper is not wrinkled.
Use a finger or paper towel to apply a thin layer of soap to the area to be engraved, which also helps to dissipate heat.
3. If there is an order for leather cutting, can the laser engraver do it?
Engraving or cutting leather can be done by a laser engraver, and we also have many customers in this industry. The application of laser engraver is far beyond your imagination.
